With election season's rhetoric on myriad social ills and proposed new solutions in full bloom, is there any significant prospect to move from cheap talk to real results? Can seasoned business performers provide the answer by transferring their skills to seemingly intractable pathologies? Or is this innovation fated for disappointment due to inevitable constraints?

Our expert panel of venture philanthropists will sort through the related issues to enlighten us on the methods and prospects of social entrepreneurship. This emerging managerial specialty is both a recent academic priority for Chicago Booth and of significant interest to its students and recent graduates. The program will thus provide early understanding of a noteworthy business trend.
