Hong Kong Social Impact Leadership Series: How Are Social Enterprises Changing the Nonprofit Sector?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Join the Social Enterprise Initiative at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business to
hear from Eric Weinheimer, ’94, about the revenue generating social enterprises that many
nonprofits are creating to further their missions. Weinheimer is president and CEO of Donors Forum of Illinois, a nonprofit that represents over 1,100 grant makers, nonprofits, and their  advisors.

At this Social Impact Leadership Series (SILS) event, Weinheimer will introduce examples of successful—and less successful—social enterprises. In particular, Weinheimer will  discuss the work of Chicago’s Cara Program, a job training and access nonprofit, where he was previously president and CEO. Before and after the SILS talk, attendees are invited to join us for a networking reception with food and drinks.
